GET BAPTIZED
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).
If you're ready to take this important step in your Christian journey, our doors are open for you to be baptized anytime. You can respond to the altar call at any worship service, call the church, or fill out the form below to schedule your baptism.
Repentance — acknowledge and turn away from sin
Repentance is acknowledging wrongdoing, feeling regret, and making a commitment to change for the better. It involves a shift in perspective and a willingness to turn away from harmful behaviors or attitudes. In a religious context, repentance implies turning away from sin and towards God, seeking forgiveness and a renewed relationship with the divine.
Baptism— undergo water baptism as a public declaration of faith
As Oneness Apostolic Pentecostals, we believe that water baptism (immersion) is a necessary step in a believer's walk with God. It is a public declaration of faith and obedience to Christ's command and identifies the believer with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Gift of the Holy Spirit— speak in other tongues as enabled by God
The gift of the Holy Ghost is the indwelling Spirit of God. We believe it is essential for salvation, evidenced by speaking in other tongues. This experience follows repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ.
Please feel free to call the church anytime to talk with a pastor or minister who can provide an explanation on how to receive this beautiful and powerful experience.
